I have been a professional art teacher for over forty years.  I took courses at Atlanta College of Art, at Newcomb College in New Orleans and the University of Georgia before finishing my Bachelor of Visual Arts in Art Education at Georgia State University .

I taught art at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School (grades 1-8) in Sandy Springs, Georgia from 1972 through 1978.

My work, including many commissioned pieces, is held in private collections throughout the United States.

I have lived for 41 years in Raintree Forest, off Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta, Georgia, with my husband, Mike McCoy.  I have two children and five grandchildren. Colleen teaches at Earlham College. Michael builds mountain bike trails in Idaho.
